The distinctive liquid lava / black paint will draw your eye, but it's the AMS ZERO99 C:68X SLT 29's performance that will keep you coming back for more. From the RockShox suspension to the 12-speed Sram XX Eagle Transmission and carbon wheels, it's all about making the most of your training and chasing down that podium finish.

Fast is light, fast is efficient, but above all fast means zero compromise. The AMS ZERO99 C:68X 29's frame is crafted from our premium carbon and weighs in at a stunning 1,600g, approximately. There's plenty of room for 2.4in tyres – and that means more grip and more control, even in the toughest conditions. Based on feedback from our XC and European Champion riders, chainstay length is tuned for optimum climbing whilst retaining excellent manoevrability. Slender tubes help keep the ride comfortable, rather than harsh. There are angle adjustment inserts to allow fine-tuning of the head angle. And with 110mm of travel front and a geometry that's tuned for agility and pace, you've got everything you need to get to the head of the pack.

    With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
